Description

Van wants reclamation projects. Edm get horvat who they can sign long term (8yrs/7.5m - takes a deal to play one mcjesus). Edm plays one season with them all then trades Leon ('24 off sesason) because they can't pay him $12m /season. Dermot is to even cap out (but Edm can have stillman if they him instead..... please take stillman)

Not as horrible for Van as you might think, maybe add a mid round pick because Puljujarvi and Yamamoto have no value to the Canucks

Only one of these are reclamation projects, Broberg has been playing great, Yamamoto has been good, just been dealing with injuries a ton

Edmonton can't afford to sign a 7.5 M player. Bouchard, McLeod, Kostin all need new deals, plus they'll want to add a defenseman.

Besides, if they trade Draisaitl, McDavid is as good as gone. Those two are a package deal. If they can be a consistent 2nd/#rd round team, my guess is 29 and 97 sign 4-5 year deals. Just a guess though.
