I can see the Kings making that trade. Kudos on coming up with a new, and realistic, idea!

I try my best. I was originally going to be like "Branny for Clarke straight up!" and then remembered that this isn't EA sports NHL samegame 2022-23.

I was also looking at a "veteran" RHD like Walker or Roy but felt that it was redundant. Price would be slightly higher too considering they are decent RHD with a year left. Realistically, I'd like to shelter Thomson a little more.

Glad to see that you've taken to heart the Anaheim chorus' Zaitsev-for-Washington's-second formulation.

Matt Roy is off the table, but Sean Walker isn't, and keep an eye out for Jordan Spence.

    - I would have Crookshank on the team

    - Don't know if the Sens can afford to have both JBD and Thomson on the RD, unless JBD gains a lot of experience in the 2nd half

Very good simple and realistic ACGM

Same, Crooker deserves a shot, same as Sharky and Lods over Chartier, Luchinni and Gambrell... I love a good story, but it's time to see what the kids are made of.

I'd like to think that Hammer is gone at the deadline and they need to fill the spot until Zaitsev gets back so Thomson steps in and looks great. Either that, or give a few games to Guenette (if the seasons falls off the rails).

I think im going to take a break from opening Sens AGMs that involve the Ducks. @OldNYIfan @Generallandro tag me when its something other than Zaitsev for a 24 2nd.

no worries man, its not on you, its just been basically every trade for the last month. Between Zaitsev and a 2nd for FCs and Kulikov to NYR for their 2023 3rd, the fan bases have kind of agreed on the prices.

Gives us more time to beat away the Leafs fans that want to strip us for parts on the cheap.

    We are used to it

Easy and lazy way for every person in here to just dump players or ‘any team’

I think it's just because the Ducks have cap space and very few teams have cap space

It was similar with the Sens not that long ago, rebuilding team with cap space
