Detroit 100% accepts.

Oliver Ekman-Larsson doesn't waive for Philly.

-Bit too low for Hart

-Around the right deal for Provorov

-WAY too low for Konecny

-Too high for Vancouver, a top-10 pick in this draft shouldn't be moved in a deal like that

-I wouldn't do the Seguin trade, Bourque and a late 2nd ain't enough to justify taking that contract back IMO. Fair value and interesting idea though

Detroit should take that. In fact, I think we'd need to at least upgrade Zadina to Veleno or Rass or something.

I'm not so sure. Konecny has topped 60 points once. He is 25. Not sure Detroit needs a 50-60 point wing.

Buium has some upside. Zadina is still young enough to make a breakthrough. Is he gonna be an elite two way smaller version of Hossa like he was billed? No, but he certainly could get the offense going a bit and be a solid defensive forward with scoring ability. I can't give up on him yet, as he does so many things well.

Canucks aren't trading a potential lottery pick to dump OEL for a cancer like DeAngelo

Agree, I'd like us to hold Zadina for a little while so he gets a genuine look in Lalonde's system before deciding. I do like Konecny's game though. Especially if we were to lose Bert.

Konecny would be a good replacement for Bert, but not at the cost of a potential top 4D, a higher 2nd round pick, and a player I think could still be a middle 6 (currently fine as bottom 6 at a reasonable cap hit).
