Foote would be another Bear like add for the Canucks. A young RHD under 24 years of age playing limited minutes behind a solid right side. Foote still possesses strong upside with his tall stature and long reach. He's exactly a target I could see the Canucks pursuing during the trade deadline.

    Gotta retain on schenn. Not bc he’s overpaid but bc Tampa is over the cap with Foote and Schenn has the same cap hit.

    Garland has to rebound and Severson has to be extended for the Devils to consider that.

    So yes after reading. Marino is not the guy. its Seversons rights, but doesn't Van have to worry Severson says no to resign? I mean he would be back in the meat grinder he's just coming our of in NJ. He would be a good d partner for Quinn. Keep the 2nd make it a third and retain a bit on Garland who is the type of player I think we need (Mile's Wood will get a payday devs can't match)
