Man what the f*ck?? Kerfoot needs to go so bad. That's a toy that needs to be taken away from Keefe.

Love that

In a hypothetical dream world, Murray joins Muzzin on LTIR next year, finishing off there careers.

Leafs roll with a Samsonov Woll tandem 🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞

All Star break should give Murray rest and time to recover as Keefe mentioned Murray was ready to start any of the last 3 games before the OTT game. Does though explain one of the little issues we were seeing with him as it seemed his movement on one side felt a bit off.

Thank **** for that break though as having Murray and Matthews out would have been problematic

Really thought though Murray got hurt via that WN shot off the mask as ironically it dented his mask lul

It’s hard to be happy about players getting injured, but the leafs could definitely use the cap space. Maybe Timo…

Definitely not wishing any ill will, but we are going on 3 straight years of Murray unable to stay healthy. Needs to think about life after hockey

It was my concern with acquiring Murray and while he's been okay/good during parts of the season, this constantly getting injured has to be worrying for Samsonov and what his health may look like if he plays as much as he recently has.

Bunting - Matthews - Marner
Jarnkrok - Tavares - Nylander
Trenin - Hartman - Garland
Holmberg - Kampf - Engvall

Um leafs have 2mill in LTIR (once u waive Simmonds) and even if u move Kerfoot u got 5.5mill so if we got Garland that would only give us 550k left

So 3.4mill in Hartman and Trenin would not be doable unless u Kucherov AM

Not sure if this rumour has any legs to it, but I would be over the moon for Buch. Really wanted him when NYR was shopping him and was super jealous of the Blues when they got him for nothing

I know when NYR were looking to move Toronto was in the mix but we couldnt make the cap work

The one issue with Buch is hes making 5.8mill. If we get him Bunting is gone next year. Also rumours are to always be taken with a pinch of salt

If we go by the 5.5mill in cap space (Factoring a Kerfoot move) I say divide it up between 2-3 players not 1

That guy is not an insider in any way shape or form. Funny follow on twitter though.

Edit: Is it possible he has some unknown connection to someone close to the team, sure, but even calling it a rumor at this point is a bit much.

So we are all on the same page: Leafs have talked to CHI about McCabe, Columbus and Gavrikov, sniffing around Meier, considering Garland, could add O’Rielly or Horvat, are interested in adding a top six forward, depth forward, and a depth defenceman, but are also might be conservative.

We have gotten to a point where were like hey lets not play our best guy but instead throw him on LTIR (even when hes not actually gonna be hurt that long) just to make our cap space go from 2m to 11mill

We have seen them not do it before and with the 3 week timeline given if they do it, its really gonna look bad for us lul

Interesting article basically says that at the right price Perron and Kubalik could be available.

Only untouchables: Raymond, Seider, Berggen, and Veleno

If there was a way to get both would instantly fix the B6

Ya, someone had to go down to activate Brodie. Sucks but I’ve liked Anderson too. If I had my cake and eat it to I’d send Simmonds down and kept McMann but that would never happen

Overwhelmingly meh - don't love committing that kind of money and term to Garland for this team. Don't trust Trenin and Raddysh to make an impactful change to the depth scoring.

Garland would be a great get. He is super feisty and brings some much needed scoring while also costing little

image.png

Trenin's 2 way game paired with his physicality would be great for a playoff push. Plus, he only costs 1.7 for 1.5 seasons. He'd be a very solid add.

image.png

Raddysh brings some speed and secondary scoring to a bottom 6 that desperately needs it.

All of these guys are immediate upgrades over what we currently have. They make this team significantly deeper and are some of the better options out on the market. We aren't going out and getting a big fish, we just need guys to help in the bottom 6. Raddysh is on pace for 24 goals, Trenin is on pace for ~12 (while being relegated to the 4th line), and Garland is an excellent 2 way point producer having a down year.

Dont think anyone is trading for Raddysh for a little while. Not until we know for sure anyway

I think at this point, most NHL teams seem to have some sort of idea regarding the participants in the 2018 scandal. We did see the Leafs bring in both Mete and Timmins this season
