The leafs wouldnt take Edmundson for free, hes awful and they dont need bottom pairing defenders

What's with the "load the team with french players"?

Bergevin tried that and got fired.

Trading Ylonen is dumb, the guy deserves an NHL spot, he's just in a winger bottleneck at this point.

Huberdeau who's going to be 30, coming off one of his worst pro-season's with an impending $10.5M x8, not worth the risk, and that Florida 1st has a decent chance of being a top-12 pick

That winnipeg trade is a joke, Dubois will fetch more than that.

Nah, we probably would, just not at that price. Maybe take out the second and retain on Edmunson

no, they definitely wouldnt. Edmunson isnt even good enough to make the leafs roster and even with max retention he's a near 2 million dollar near 30 6th defender with injury issues. He's not worth a 5th

I know Huberdeau hasn’t lived up to expectations but he’s still an excellent player and is worth WAY more than that
