TB just made going back to back look easy no team other than them could not have a top 3 foward out an entire season and still cruise to the playoffs. Does Colorado even get to the dance?

Can we add Newhook and a first too please? But yeah. I made a comment a couple hours ago saying Girard isn't as expendable as many seem to think. I'd say that's pretty apparent in tonight's lineup.

I think they could make it if it were just Landeskog missing all year. But when you add injuries to MacKinnon, Nichushkin, Byram, Manson, Rodriguez, Francouz, Helm, and whoever else I'm missing it gets pretty tough.

My comment was going to be: "I'd like to revisit the opinions of those who contended that acquiring Josh Manson was a mistake, or that Colorado should trade Girard for Horvat," but you guys sure beat me to it.

They also had the advantage of winning in two short(er) seasons, one of those with the divisions completely jumbled. Avs can still make it but it's going to be a bumpy ride.
