Dumoulin sucks. Switch Joseph and Greig . Sign Graves instead of Dumoulin at the very least. And find a better 3LD than that

That's a pretty lacking return for Chabot, and committing to a declining Brian Dumolin is a big mistake

I like this as the basis of the deal but probably short like a 1st round pick. As for Dumoulin, yeah wouldn’t be my target . I’ll take one of Soucy, Graves tho , Ekholm tho

Los Angeles says Yes, but owes you a significant element -- probably our 2024 first. (I'm loath to give up the 2023 first.)

I don't want Chabot. He's too inconsistent and we can't afford him.

I don't think the Kings can afford Chabot capwise and the price. Doughty, Clarke, and Durzi will be out long-term answer for scoring on the blue line, the Kings now need to get their final 2nd pair defensive d-man.

This trade Chabot narrative is so odd. Been seeing it for a while. Don't care if he's inconsistent or whatever but take Chabot off this D corps and oh my goodness it will be mayhem. It thrusts Sanderson to playing tougher minutes. And if it's cap related I'd rather trade a forward... For a dman. Getting someone to take some of the big minutes will help him greatly.

What has DeBrincat done to earn that contract?

So many players in the NHL get paid off of name value as opposed to on ice production its so stupid.
