That's a expensive 4th line. Doubt Chicago will want Bryson or Portillo. But I do like Murphy

It's less expensive than our current 4th line

Very true, and I actually like what you have, just don't think Girgensons and Okposo should get those contracts. And really if Buffalo didn't have so many young kids on cheap contracts they wouldn't be able to afford it. You should never be spending that much on a 4th line, it would probably hurt us in other area's.

How? They are 1 year deals for girgensons and okposo and we still have 6 million in cap space.

They never really run a true 3rd and 4th line anyways and this can act like a true checking line

Cause there not worth that much, and true the Sabres haven't been running a true 3rd and 4th line, but that's because Mitts and Olofsson have disappeared for long stretches. Buffalo is going to have to figure out Savoie, he's either here next year or Juniors Cause he can't go to Rochester and he's to good for Juniors. You have Kulich and Rousek looking sharp. If the Sabres make the right moves they won't have to run a conventional 4th line.

Other than Bryson, I'd say that Murphy proposal is on the right track.

I'd like to, you know, try to make the playoffs.

It's not my money, so what do I care? They have plenty of cap space.

Those guys can get called up when warranted. Kulich is 18.

It's time to try to win.

Edit: yea they are worth those contracts

I would like to make the playoffs to, and actually think they could have pushed this year, but injuries and Adams waiting pretty much killed that about a month ago. And No there not worth that. Maybe the Captain but Girgensons can be found anywhere for cheaper than that. Actually in are prospect pool.

Goodrow Would be the forward version of Lyubushkin. Yes he’s physical and tough, but he’s a complete liability at times.

Swap out Bryson and portillo for a solid forward prospect and the hawks accept. I think Bloom is the one I see in these trades often.

No thanks.

You can draft one with the top 40 pick I traded.

In that case the hawks decline.

Rangers still pass on the Goodrow trade, but keep dreaming.

I think Hawks would have interest in Portillo but not as the main piece of a trade.
