This is the best one yet! The jeannot trade is legitimately good. I find the Hayes trade completely unnecessary, but this is by a mile the best one he’s done yet.

If this is "going for it". I hope the Bruins swing and miss on deadline day.

But btw, that’s not how LTIR works, there would still be bonus overages. Also, shutting debrusk down for the year is a REALLY bad idea.

I’d do that if I was the gm for the preds but Poile won’t. I’m so ready to see us go in another direction with getting rid of Poile and Hynes

Just cant see PHI taking two cap dumps, one who has 2 yrs left. Not saying they dont have talent, but to PHI they are cap dumps. And both play positions PHI has depth at.

Hayes at 7.14 is playing at a ppg pace and justifying his cap hit. (If coyle is worth 5.25, then Hayes is worth 7.1). The whole 1 game benching was more of a message to a team full of youngsters, and not a rift between him and the team, really overblown.

Hayes for a late in the round 1st and 2 3rds (in 2024 and 2025) is probably close to market value based on the year hes having. Braun probably gets more than a 4th THREE drafts away. So I cant see Beecher making the difference for the 2 cap dumps, let alone they add retention for many years (and Braun).

Smith, Reilly, (5mil in dead cap and 2mil in 2024), the 1st and 2 3rds for Hayes with no retention is probably more accurate.

Does he even go anywhere at this point? Poile has SOME form of incriminating evidence against the owners to be the GM for this long.

As much as we’d love for him to be fired I still can’t expect it to be anytime soon.
