It will have to be futures for Garland. I can't see the Jets moving a starting roster player before or at the TDL.

Minnesota can't afford Bo Horvat long term, With the AAV he'll want. So he's a pure rental with Minnesota. Therefore Rossi isn't happening.

I wasn't sure if Jets have some replacement level pieces for Barron. Maybe Harkins, Gustafson, etc.

Well shedding Anderson 1.0 is significant. I get Arber love given his passion.

They can trade anderson elsewhere
Every reputable insider has said there is a strong market for him if they want to trade him theres no need to take on boeser

Harkins and 3rd for Garland would work for the Jets

Yes it's a big ask. That's why there are no additional picks or anything else involved and Canucks sending back two RFAs as well. Certainly Bo would be a significant add for the Wild and their playoff push.

I'll believe when I see it. Fair enough if you don't see it as a good deal.

That's the thing, they could use more forward depth, so I think they'll want to keep all they have and add to it if possible.

Given Harkins is older than Barron and hasn't stuck in the lineup, Canucks would probably want a 2nd then vs the third.

Two more RFAs we can’t afford to pay. Gee thanks. Even better, both RFAs are defenders we don’t need!

If VAN is selling low on Garland, I could easily see the Leafs jumping on that. Not too sure what you would want in return though

I'm not sure what the Canucks FO will do to be honest. For me it's a solid pick and maybe B prospect.

The answer is no to trading Rossi in a deal like this.

Wild aren't interested . They aren't giving up Rossi for rental. They are interested in Toews and kane

Harkins would be a hometown boy in VAN. Could be the kind of scenery change he needs to kick things into gear.

Toews would make sense to me. I imagine the Kane ask will be steep.

Of the players in the MTL/VAN swap, the most desirable imo is Arber. MTL isn't in any pinch to move contracts for a cap crunch so the 5.5 mil isn't hurting us any for Anderson. As Black61 said, there's been plenty of reported interest in him so we don't need to move a player we want to keep (Arber) just to move other pieces around and not come out any further ahead. MTL is much better off keeping their pieces in this proposal you have posted here.
