Wild card team Part 2

Created by: NikitaAviva
Team: 2024-25 San Jose Sharks
Initial Creation Date: Jan. 20, 2023
Published: Jan. 20, 2023
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
In the 2024-2025 season, the focus is on youth. Eklund, Boucher, Bordeleau, Coe will be fixed at the main group, Robins and Wiesblatt will periodically rise. A short-term increase in protection will not hurt. I believe that Gaudreau and Makiniemi will play in tandem, but now Greiss will fit as a backup.

I would be happy with that in NJ, if Timo had an extension (like Tkachuk last offseason)

I think the next Timo's deal would be like Barzal's deal (9,15-9,25 mil.).

I think Tbrew meant in the manner the sign-and-trade happened with Matthew Tkachuk, the extension with Meier would have to be agreed upon before the trade went down.

As for your suggested AAV, I think it's way too much.
If Meier wants more than 8.5m long-term I'd be very hesitant in wanting the Devils to trade for him in the first place.

The only player on your roster we would have paid a 2023 second for at the trade deadline is Mario Ferraro.
