I’ve been thinking about Addison to the Sens. What about Pinto as a one for one? Both guys have shown their upside and it’s a strength for strength trade.

Not sure how Addison would fit given how they handled Brannstrom though.

There has been a lot of pushback on most trades including Pinto, so I didn’t go there. It’s a terrific idea though! I’m not sure it’s a straight up 1:1 trade, but I would certainly investigate it!
A future middle with Ek, Rossi, and Pinto might not include the #1 so many are clamoring for, but I think the Wild could definitely win a Cup with those three…especially with the wings and young Ds in the system!

Make an AGM with that trade…I’d like to see it on paper, and follow the discussion.

I’ll do that. But I might have to mute it immediately….

opening a hole to plug one does not do anything for OTT< they have no one to replace pinto and have 2 players that can be top 4 if the dumb ass smith plays them (Thompson and JBD)

(Im as Sens fan) True however, I feel like Finding a quality 3rd centre is much easier than finding a quality RD. You know what I mean? The market for RD is very small atm. I really like pinto and I wouldn't really consider trading him but remember we still have Greig as back up. But we don't have a RD prospect apart from JBD who could be really really good for us.

Yeah between Norris and Stutzle the Sens are set for 1st and 2nd line centers for a long time. They could easily find a quality 3rd line center.

Yes but it is a risk Because Pinto is well liked and has good potential. He's not bad Rn for his rookie season. he struggled at 2C because of the Norris injury. but at 3c and on the PP he's pretty good.

no guarantees greig will be a NHL player, Pinto is currently playing well in the NHL, opening a hole and hurting your depth to add a player you may not need is bad Gming

We need RD badly its the biggest concern. We have many Centre Prospects if Greig doesn't work then ostapchuk will and if that also doesn't work its much easier to get a 3rd line centre compared to a RD.

trade the prospects not the established players, OTT is not rebuilding anymore they need their players to be playing not to be traded.
