Still mediocre 4th line but otherwise imposing. Really see need for 1-2 more legit NHL forwards & wealth of D that could be used to help trade for it. Wonder if Helm will retire. According to this they would have to buy out $416,667

I clicked the buyout button. If Helm retires, they would still owe him $416,667 against the cap.

He won't retire mid-season in the last year of his deal. He can just go on LTIR.
