Pelletier’s speed and back check look good so far. Needs work on his Faceoffs though

Kadri & Lucic are typically at their best when they’re standing or getting to the front of the net, so they’d be better off with a guy like Coleman who can work the corners and throw the pucks in front of the net or with D-Men putting the puck on net for deflections and rebounds.

Since it would be considered blasphemy or illegal to break up the Mang-Backs-Coleman line as far as some Flames Fans are concerned, who else can do that, Duehr or Lewis!? Needs to be a Strong Physical Grinder imo. Ruzicka is big but not strong enough. Dube might work but he’s already doing that for Lindy & Toffoli. I say Duehr

Pelletier has looked electric after 2. Kids gotta stay in after this. His defensive game has been excellent and his offense looks like it uas legitimate potential with some polishing and synergy

It is blasphemy because that line is incredible. They are completely dominant on the ice via the eye test and the underlying numbers ranks them #1 in the league. There is no sense in ever splitting up that line.

The Pelts has played today I think we should maybe run him with Ruzicka and Lewis next game before giving him the chance at a promotion. But he has definitely been eye catching enough to be given a legitimate shot in the top 6. Not too worried about his faceoffs as he is primarily a winger and faceoffs in the NHL take time to get good at. Consider Ruzicka's age and newness I think he is going to be an excellent faceoff guy a couple years from now

There was a relevant amount of special teams time that period, no reason to overreact
