O'Reilly gets a better offer.

Kyle Dubas isn't trading a guy who's out for the season in Nicholas Robertson.

Ah yes a 24 2nd and a bunch of random pieces and a guy to level out the cap should be enticing.

Blues would essentially be in the same spot just letting ROR walk in free agency.

I tend to think that 2nds and late 1sts(although to a degree merit reason) are vastly overvalued. Or it could be possible that the addition of a top end rental is undervalued.

The chances of Abruzzese, Hirovenen or a pick most likely in the late 50s or 60s making the NHL roster outside of the off chance when they are called up to fill in for an injury are very slim.

Abruzzese probably has the best shot at doing so. I’m not entirely familiar with his game but it looks like he’s carving out a nice AHL career.

If this is the best offer even at the last hour of the tdl, I would imagine and I would hope that Armstrong would pass.
