I could see the Sens doing this move, but I am not sure if it is the best one for them and their Rd needs.

What to Wild Fans says is the Expected AAV of his next deal this summer?

I'll be honest I have no idea what the price would be for Kuzmenko, but if the price to resign is going to be around $6mil like its been reported, it seems like VAN might want to move him. A 25 y/o with 5 years of NHL experience on a fairly team friendly deal and a pick would seem to be more valuable to a rebuilding team than a 27y/o rookie that is going to be expensive to resign

I'd expect that a team will pay a 1st or something pretty equivalent for Kuzmenko. a complimentary scoring winger at near a point per game for under 1M would be an absurdly valuable commodity for a contending team looking to add at the deadline

It's been reported VAN wants NHL ready players back in trades. Getting a 25 year old checking forward that has shown some ability to score on a fairly team friendly deal and a second round pick isn't much of a step down from a first. In this scenario MN could even do OTT's 2nd instead of their which will likely be a higher 2nd

I could see 4-5 years between $4-5M.

Greenway with his team friendly deal is nearly worth a 1st himself so I think the value going to VAN is fair with maybe another mid round pick added. I could see a cap strapped playoff team wanting Greenway for a couple years on his contract.

If he will sign that then sure Sens should be all over it.

More than 5 per and not touching it.

Career high of 12 goals and 32 points is not impressive at all. You get those players in UFA for free. Not trading a near point per game winger at under a million dollars for a bottom 6 grinder

Not commenting about the value of the trade, don't care. But you're out of your mind if you don't think at least 20 GM's would love to add Greenway with his unique combination of tools at 3M.

And his 32 point came in only 56 games.

I'm sure he would have value, but not as much as you are suggesting. I'm sure GMs wlll value a near point per game winger on a cheap ELC contract...

I did not suggest value and I explicitly stated I wasn't commenting on the value of the trade in the OP.
