All teams decline, this is only beneficial to CBJ. If LA wanted to move Turcotte, they'd do it for Chychrun, not Gavrikov.

Have I missed where Gavrikov became Quinn Hughes and Nyquist became elite? These are rancid

I mean they could do that sure, but it'll cost ALOT more then this for chychrun.

Problem with the Kuraly trade is it means TB Loses Colton next year due to cap constraints. The money allotted to Kuraly in this probably prevents them from signing Colton so pass on it.

The Tampa trade is fine. However, from a cap perspective for next year, I think if Tampa goes after a player from Columbus, then it would be Robinson. While Tampa could make it work with Kuraly moving ahead, the 900k savings with Robinson is much more appealing when trying to make a 22 player roster work next year. There are several players in this range(that have term through at least next season) that Tampa should look at acquiring, and Robinson/Kuraly should be on the list.

Chychrun is also under contract for three more years, is three years younger and not a UFA at the end of the season. Kings have no need for Korpisalo.

Obviously it'll cost more, that's why Turcotte will be a piece in the trade.
