yes but paying 1st rd picks and gutting your prospect pool for a less than 50/50 chance to make the 8th seed is as poverty as anything can be
isles are still worse than Caps, Pens and Sabres ez

The only thing that will make me happy is if horvat starts to slump and struggles for the remaining 30 games of the season

I also hope Raty becomes a 1st line center but at the same time I want the Canucks to continue rotting in mediocrity

I feel its a bit underwhelming in the sense of what Horvat was acheiving. Like imagine the bidding war for him right at the TDL.

Either way Canucks could try and flip Beau but it just seems based on the projections of what could be going back its a bit underwhelming

As other than Raty pick and Beau could be meh in Van

It could have been even a lot worse if the Islanders included Parker Wotherspoon. Thank god they didn't.

This is what’s going to happen: The Sabres will get the last wildcard spot, meaning the Isles miss out. Then Lou will give Horvat an 8 year extension in the summer.

It’s a huge win for the Canucks. Raty will be better than horvat next season . Horvat isn’t anything special. One good year
