lol, yeah you have never once looked at the stats have you?

I've posted it multiple times, a side by side, 5 year comparison, in response to you specifically in months previous looking at individual season and total 5 year stats for both of them between the 17-18 season and the end of the 21-22 season.

In that time Murray has posted a higher SV% twice, in 18-19 and 21-22, both years better by only 0.02, Gibson in the other years beat his SV% by 0.19, 0.05, and 0.10 respectively. GAA follows the same trend, when Murray beat Gibson, it was by slim margins, when he didn't, he got blown out of the water. Hell, even Gibson's entire career SV% is only 0.01 less than Murray's SV% only from his days in Pittsburgh, excluding all the time he was terrible in Ottowa.

Full 5 year picture is even more in favor of Gibson's stats. So yeah, I've read the stats, do your homework next time.

yes, you should really do your home work and look at numbers that are not save %. Outside of a single year and a few stats like save % here and there Murray has been better, or close enough where playing through a horrible injury or three vs a healthy gibson is incredibly unflattering to Gibson.
And the difference here is that no one thinks Murray was good while Ducks fans have been crowing about a guy who has been bottom of the league is not only still good but "elite" on a good team.
The Leaf were paid to take Murray and he's been one of the better goalies in the league for a good hunk of the season while gibson continues to flounder, Gibson is toast, get used to it.

And yet, not a single stat in there to support your argument, again, despite the fact that you have evidence before you that shows your statement of "Murray has been the better goaltender on good teams and bad" is not true. You're the one who's washed, bud, get used to it.

nah bro, im not gonna do your homework for you. If you cant bother to do the research because it might hurt your feelings then that's on you. I know what the numbers say and I can confidently say that no one who knows anything about goaltending would trade murray for gibson straight up let alone add a 1st. You should be happy about it though! He's helping you guys get a shot at bedard!
