Holl is much better defensively than Dumba. If the pick was dropped and money was retained than sure but that won't happen so Leafs so no.

Im pretty sure if Guerin was offered that he would run away laughing. The Wild get better and gain a draft pick.

Once again he has declines numerous trade, so he won't. Dumba value to lockerroom is bigger than lesser player and 2nd round pick. Been made clear he's not trading dumba unless it's for 1st round pick or high pick and where he can bring better player in

I think leafs fans not knowing why he's back playing again is living in lala land. Holl is a cap dump where as dumba value to wild d and lockerroom alone increases his value

Value to locker room is totally subjective; neither of us know the details inside a locker room. But stats can’t be argued; Holl has better defensive metrics than Dumba and Holl / Gio have better numbers than Dumba / Brodin (xG%). Both are pending FAs but one is paid a lot less than the other.
No way that trade happens, and absolutely no way Leaf’s add; give your head a shake.

I mean Holl has been playing a shutdown role for a while when Dumba gets sheltered.

Value isn't subjective. You have no idea what dumba value is to wild. Dumba has more value based on name and RHD alone. Bah, Minnesota will keep dumba. As been reported and made clear, dumba isn't being traded unless better d and high pick comes back. Once again dumba is too valuable to wild and their lockerroom. Holl wouldn't play in Minnesota

I mean I know, but he's saying no one knows about loxkerroom when Russo literally reported wild saw pushback from alot of players about dumba's benching. Players were not happy according to Russo and it's a big reason dumba trade might no longer happen

Dumba plays against opposing team's top lines.

He's not sheltered.

Better grab your dictionary - assigning “locker room value” to a certain player is 100% subjective.
And Leaf’s are the better team (with better defensive metrics); if Holl plays significant role (hard minutes) with Leafs, logic dictates he’d play for Wild neutral

Minnesota has better dman that leafs. So no. You don't have brodin and spurgeon or Jacob Middleton. So try again. He won't. B

You need to study up on difference between opinion and fact. You’re entitled to your opinion but that’s all it is - an opinion. We disagree and last time I checked, teams ice 6 dmen, not 3. Holl would easily play on Wild, like he’d play for vast majority of nhl teams.
But no problem - I’ll stick with the Leafs lineup (Holl included) over Wild, but good luck with your season nonetheless 👍

Just giving a taste of the medicine, how does the OP seriously think the Leafs can make this deal.
1) Dumbas salary is way over what the Leafs can afford
2) Holl is statistically better defensively than Dumba
3) the Leafs have little to no picks

And we are living in lala land?

The Wild don’t need Holl. He’s of no use to us with Faber expected to join the team after the NCAA season ends.

If necessary, the Wild can eat 50% for a 1st. Someone will be willing to pay that.

But dumba is of no use to us either so why would we increase our cap hit and give up a second or the first for retention and still be paying more.

Holls value to caphit ratio cannot be beaten by Dumba therefore he isn't worth giving up assets for.

BUF declines. That doesn't help us at all. We're basically done rebuilding. We've got our 1st and 3 2nds this year.

Don't really need to add draft picks.

From the 2017-2022 drafts, exactly 1 2nd round draft pick has more points that Mitts. 1 out of 188 2nd round draft picks.
