You might get away with selling myers to Arizona with a smaller sweetener because of the lower money to cap ratio but there isn’t a team giving you a 2nd

I still think he's a good (not great) nhl defenseman just on a really bad team. His main partner is OEL, who I think is not good.

Not even close for Bo Horvat, JR wants 2 young players and a high end prospect. That offer would be easily blown away.

Mcleod is not for sale. Somebody like yamamoto could be though.

I don't think edmonton needs kuzmenko. I think someone like conor Garland is good enough.

Yamamoto for Garland i would do.

What JR wants and what JR gets are two different things. You also do realize this was made by a Canucks fans, right?

Garland is 5 times the cap cost than kuzmenko and half the points and edmonton needs ufa not long term players at 5.0 mil. Edmonton need a top wing to play with your 2 elite centers. If they dont go for it the next 2 yrs then Leon will be gone with no cup (because they can't afford 2 guys making over $12+)

A 4th line center and 2nd for a guy making under a mil and almost a point a game. Edmonton will never win the cup if they dont go for it in the next 2 yrs.

This trade is a young player and two high end prospects (assumption being that a 2023 1st results in a high end prospect).

That return seems more than adequate, imo

Devils fans normally say it's an over payment. They think their prospects are all top line players. I hope vancouver can get more for it. I think horvat is a difference maker, even if it's just for 1 yr.

The Devils also should have no reason to go after Horvat with Hischier and Hughes already at 1-2C. Horvat is great, but shouldn't be a priority.

I agree they don't need him but rumors have been linked to him.

My honest view is, there is no harm in acting "in" if it raises the price on the team I think does go for Horvat (Carolina).
