Cup contender of course but how do you plan on re-signing Kuzy? You'd have to dump Martinez and then some

Why does every fan on here have the same thought about resigning ufa rentals. Normally it's just one yr and gone. I think the trade sucks from vancouver return but vegas would be happy to get kuzmenko for one yr if it gets the chance of a deep run.

I would never give up my top prospect, a first and a second for a guy I have no intention of re-signing. How is this bad for Vancouver? They could re-sign him in July lmao

i could see this as a last ditch effort from us to win the cup if we dont plan on re-signing kuzzy with a trade like this, he was eyeing vegas during the summer also so i figure if he wants out then we'd be one of the cities he'd want to go to, and to answer ur earlier question yeah i think we'd drop one of martinez or one of the misfits to re-sign him

Karlsson and Martinez out, Kuzy and 2/3 mil in cap space isnt a bad move imo

The play here is going all in. Dean imo ceiling is a 3C not more to be realistic. The deferred picks to later years is more the issue. That all said a 2023 1st is the want if even considering not resigning Kuzmenko.

I agree that it's an over payment for him. My rant was about just the resigning of ufa.
