Why are you trading Hrenak? He's the best goaltending prospect the Kings have.

I don't think Gavrikov is worth $5.25M.

Ottawa isn’t taking Walker especially not for a 2nd or even period. Neither him or JBD will play top 4 next year so waste of space

Not really in keeping with what CBJ need to get back in a Gavrikov deal. The asking price has been widely reported to be a 1st and a 3rd. Quantity is less important than quality to CBJ at this point. Grans is a nice prospect, but he's a right-shot defenseman, and the Blue Jackets are well-stocked with young, talented players on that side (Jiricek, Ceulemans, Peeke, Blankenburg, Bjork, plus Boqvist, and we have to roster the desiccated corpse of Erik Gudbranson). Grundstrom doesn't give CBJ anything they need; they've got tons of wingers. This won't get it done.

Sens acquiring Walker at 2.6 for another year is just a repeat of paying a 3rd for Hamonic and getting stuck with him for an extra year.
