I dont get this, if I was in the same shoes as the leafs Id trade eklund for meier in a heartbeat. Knies is the best prospect in the 17th ranked prospect pool meier is already a 35+ goal scorer and a play driving winger, because of the leafs cap situation I get it, but not wanting to move knies for a piece that might finally get you out of the first round? crazy

Knies looks to be exactly what the Leafs need. Why would we move him? He’s destroying the NCAA for the last 2 years. He’s only there cause he lost in the finals or something and said I want that championship so he went back.
