It's a fair price for Comtois, but seeing as we are in need of LW anyway, and have a new coach next season, we're not ready to give up on him yet. Whoever we draft would take a few years to get to the show so we would have to go and buy a replacement for him anyway.

Curious which player you think is a cap dump in that avs trade. Also you can only retain on three contracts at a given time, and you proposed 5 soooo obviously not going to happen

Cogliano and Helm aren’t cap dumps? Both are solid contributors on cheap contracts.

Avs decline this very easily, even if you take out the first imo.

As per usual with the trade ideas u guys post,
there’s just no way with this

1- Levi is basically untouchable, as he’s viewed as our goalie of the future

2- no interest in Anderson. While his physicality would be nice for the playoffs, he gets hurt too much- probably from the style of game he plays. Also, that contract… 🤮🤮🤮
And we’re one of the top scoring teams in the league, so we’re doing just fine there.
