Josh Anderson at 4.5 years and $4,500,000 per doesn't return anywhere close to Holtz and a late 1st Anderson is basically a 20-30 point winger and is worthless.

New Jersey isn't paying you EITHER their 20223 first-round pick OR Alex Holtz for Josh Anderson. The Devils already acquired a top-6 forward from Montreal -- Tomas Tatar, who's gotten better results than Anderson every season since the trade.

PLD is free. He is a UFA next summer, free as air.

If Josh Anderson doesn't return a first or better by the TDL I will eat my hat. Your issue is not with me, it's with Button and Friedman. You sound like someone who believes he actually knows better than a real NHL GM
