Leafs can't afford 4m McCabe next season.
McCabe, Domi, and Accairili aren't really mushyof improvement over Kerfoot and Holl and whoever the 4th forward , and then you have to hope the new guys fit in.
Domi as third line centre.? He has a lot of points on the PP which he won't to get in Toronto. His defence isn't as good as Kerfoot...who also kills penalties. Just no benefit to the Leafs making that exchange.

leafs don't want domi. he isn't even that good. if leafs want to go for a winger and who is a good top 6 forward, who can be consistent, it ain't domi thats for sure. Domi is horribly defensively, great on offence, buttttttttttttt not that consistent. you could wave benn and keep holl as ur extra D man. I doubt benn will get claimed. he might but I think it's a low chance. have blackhawks retain half of his salary, get rid of domi in that trade. take out are second and there third. should be a solid trade.

How much development do the Leafs want to do this season on a Cup run. Steeves doesn't play centre with the Marlies, and the Leafs don't have NHL depth at centre which Kerfoot provides.
