With the best pipeline in the entire league on LD, Detroit will not trade for one.

Is kind of odd how many posters are trading good LD prospects to Detroit. A lot of them I'd consider if it weren't for the fact that Detroit is loaded at LD prospects. It's almost as if there are just a ton of LD prospects in everyone's pipelines right now.

They might just be looking at the current state of the WIngs' LD. Most aren't aware that Walman has been excellent in a short sample size, and Maatta's actually been solid this season.

I don't think they're looking at the Detroit roster or reserve list at all.

If they had even spent two seconds on the Detroit page they would have seen that we currently have 5 LD on our roster in Chiarot, Walman, Määttä, Oesterle, and Hägg. Who in their right mind would look at a team roster with 5 waiver eligible LD on the current roster and another 5 in their farm team and come to the conclusion that we would be interested in paying assets to get yet another one?
