Description

Top 6 has been quite good and balanced and Jarnkrok has lowkey been heating up on the 2nd line, reliable young C Holmberg between two new offensive weapons to form a dominant scoring line. You'd give Meier and Kuz top 6 minutes often and bring their TOI up, but also bring the TOI of the top players a bit down too for longevity

Line #1 - 18 mins
Line #2 - 18 mins
Line #3 - 15 mins (Meier and Kuz take some mins from Bunting and Jarnkrok in top 6, averages out to more like 17.5 mins for those two)
Line #4 - 9 mins, D zone starts and PK time almost exclusively

I would prefer that as well but gotta give up to get and I can't imagine Robertson is all that enticing following a season ending surgery

maybe, but I don't think this is out of realm. 2023 First + our 2nd best prospect + our 3rd or 4th best prospect + 3rd rounder isn't nothing

And again maybe to Kuz too but we have no idea, I've seen reports that they still might wanna keep Bo but that would mean not keeping both, maybe they don't want to get into another long term deal that has flop risk, maybe they retool and ship him off, again not unreasonable to suggest that they consider moving him

Chyrunn instead of Meier imo, if cost is similar, that blueline needs another top 4 over upgrading top 9, hopefully kids ready to improve leaps and bounds otherwise

I hope for their sake they don't do that. They are still doubtful to make the playoffs and one more year of a higher draft pick will make them better as they continue to climb the ranks. Meier is certainly a good add but would he actually want to commit long term? These are the questions that are going to be asked. Buffalo has some other big contracts coming down the road, they may not have the funds to give him what he wants? There is still a chance that he goes somewhere as a rental and isn't qualified and goes FA. Lots of possibilities
