Sharks aren’t doing that. Need at least a prospect added

Brodie doesn't waive, so that's really the end of that discussion.

Brodie usuelss to SJ, kerfoot is a UFA. maybe you should sign Robertson to a 7x7 extentsion then we could put him on LTIR and use the space for healthly players.

They need to clear space... and rebuild.

I would do it... Whoever you want too... Knies? sure... if that got it done.

I think the Leafs need a FWD and a D... and he basically is good enough to cover both. He is turned the clock back, and I think it was that awful injury he suffered has taken this long to heal

No, California isn't the worse place to be...but the travel isn't the best. The bigger issue is the Leafs are contenders, and the Sharks aren't in the Brodie's last two NHL seasons.

Remove the retention and CHI might accept.

At the deadline the amount left will be negligible. His contract expires at the end of the year

Well it really depends on how many retention slots CHI has left, whether or not this is a last minute deal, and if CHI has other deals on the table that will require retention slots and would be more lucrative. So, it isn't really about the amount, but maybe.

This management group know the next 2 yrs are not going to be good. they have to toll off years on the Vlasic, EK65 and Couture deals. Not paying assets to move them. The worst thing a team who is content with a slow rebuild is to give away assets at at discount
