this is a great idea. Don't know if Barbashev will be that low, but love it. Next year will be the year!

Kings decline

Players go to Toronto then fall off the face of the earth when they leave

Wouldn't the Kings (and Samsonov) be much better off if the Kings offer sheeted Samsosov at 4.3m (a second rounder) rather than trade for Murray.

You've overvalued Barbashov and Domi , Karpisalo......Under valued Bunting, and Kampf who wasn't resigned.

Why in the world would Los Angeles want anything to do with Matt Murray? He's hideously overpriced at $4,687,500 and was on the IR list three times in 2021-2022 and once this season. We can find better, cheaper starters. The idea that we would trade our best defensive defenseman for him is just cuckoo.

instead of giving domi and timmins 5.5 million, i think we should give that money to kampf and engvall.

No, and we live on opposite sides of the continent. But we recognize value in players and acknowledge that ALL teams have cap issues.

Ha, ha, no, only in frequently being of like mind. We have a great deal of respect for each other and each other's opinions.

Gotta think the Leafs need Timmins next year, even as a the 7th Dman, which means he plays a lot. Agree with you about Kampf, and if possible I would keep Engvall too. Strange how many Leaf fans don't resepect Engvall's play/contribution to the Leafs. Good value at his current 2.1m
