Even if Larkin gets more money from Philly, IMO he isn't going to subject himself to years of non playoff appearances even with Bedard.

Canes need more incentive to trade for Hayes. You need to increase the retention and lower the return.

Not trying to disparage the player, but for the Canes to sink assets and cap space into a player, they need to fit the system and structure of the team. Kind of like Torts without the drama…how’s he going to fit with HCRBA? Likely on the fourth line.
