What makes you think Labanc is a two way player? He forgets how to play hockey in the D zone. Trust me, from a sharks fan, his value is very very low and is basically untradable. Likely buyout candidate.

labanc is one of 3 players that the sharks have that has a surplus value on his contract according to the athletic lmao. the Hertl Meier Labanc line is also statistically like the 10-14 best line in hockey. That being said if you dont want us to retain anything prolly have him for like an earlyish mid round pick in year

So like a 3rd/4th gets it done? I would compare him to the price of garland (3rd/4th), a winger with a bit of term (not as much as garland). Term is something other teams don't want but the Jets need to acquire players with term.
