Or Lysell, Carlo, a first, and a fourth. Quality over quantity.

Bruins don’t need Horvat and aren’t moving Coyle to wing

Since when has a rental netted a 1st + Top Prospect + young Top 4 D-man + another pick?

That's a big overpay for Horvat with an extension. This one is a rental.

Canucks already said they want lysell as the main peice, keep in mind the first will be likely 28-32 ovr. Canucks will not take mediocre offers for Horvat there is a lot of interest.

Carlo alone is worth way more than vancouver could conceive of getting

That doesn't answer my question. Who was the last rental to net a 1st + top prospect + prime top 4 d-man + another pick?

1. No they didn’t.
2. All picks offered for rentals will be late.
3. Young d men with term don’t get moved for rentals. This is many multiples higher than what the next best offer would be

1. yes they did per jimmy Murphy who is a bruins insider
2. Not necessarily true
3. I wouldnt consider Carlo a young d-man but I see what your saying there.
Do you agree with this AGMs offer? Or do you have one you think the Canucks would accept.

Sorry I didn't realize you asked me that my bad. So Copp and Giroux were the two biggest rental additions last season I believe. Neither one of them had a better season than Horvat has had thus far. Horvat is only 15 points behind Girouxs season total last year at 65 in just 48 games. Copp was at 53 for season totals. Neither one had close to the same amount of goals in the whole season as Horvat has had thus far. the point im making is that Horvat is the far better player. its not everyday that a teams capatain and a superstar play becomes available for trade. I think Horvat is gonna get a big return even if its for a rental. probably close to what Larkin will get if the wings decide to move on from him instead of resign. There has been nobody that i can think of that is as good as Horvat and in the same career stage as horvat getting traded as a rental. Thats why in a competitive trade market this season you arent gonna get him for his straight up value.Your gonna be paying premium to outbid others.

Ya, this is the problem here. Jimmy Murphy isn’t a bruins insider, he’s an industry joke. He’s been fired from every publication he’s worked for because….he just makes stuff up. His job is to generate clicks, that’s it. I’m 100% serious when I say I have far more inside knowledge of the bruins than that clown. No one credible has reported that they’ve even talked. Someone on the Canucks side of things (I forget who) went out of their way to say that there’s nothing out there indicating that they have.

It kinda is necessarily true.

He’s 26, right? Five years of term. I’m calling that young. It’s the term that’s the issue though.

Ok i'll agree with that
Carlo is 26 yes
I think that theres a huge differnce between picks from spot 28-32 than there is for picks 20-24 especially in this deep draft.
Ill agree with you on Carlo here so if we took him out of my trade proposal what else would the bruins be willing to add. Because Lysell, 1st, and fourth could be beaten and probably will.

No guarantee that the pick will be between 28-32. Pretty much everyone trading for this caliber rental will have almost as good a shot at being in that group.
