Description
Im not sure whos on Larkins NTC but with my luck its gonna be Toronto. How do we find that info?
If they can't make it work next season nylander or marner trade to get a ton of assets back. I think Larkin fits in the core nice.

Okay, so it's not a fit for either team

Nope, If an extension were in place for Larkin in Toronto. The offer would need to be far better than that. And it's not even close. Matthew Knies would 100% have to be included and it's not even up for debate.

Well that's just not true!!! He grew up a Wings fan and his favorite player growing up is now the Wings GM.

I had already corrected myself below, it was his dad who was a big leafs fan

I've seen worse deals for Larkin. It's not bad. Would love to have knies though.

That really doesn't help at all. Two real late 1sts and a bunch of meh for a ~PPG C and a legit top 4 D, and you don't even include Knies lol

edit- just noticed the 3M retained by Detroit for 6 years lolololol

It's not retaining on the new contract but retention at the deadline would cost something.

Outside of Niemela and the 2 1st round picks, Yeah it's bad. First off there is no way Dubas is giving Larkin $9,500,000 when he still needs to re-sign both Matthews and Nylander. plus it starts with Matthew Knies your top prospect at the very least for a starter. Larkin isn't getting traded a deal will get done Yzerman already said that he has until june 30th to get a deal done that's still 5 months away.

Zero chance of Yzerman resigning Bunting, So he's a no go.

We've our own Pierre Engval in Elmer Soderblom so we pass again.

Fraser Minten is another 3C LHS that we already have an over abundance of plus have far more coming up in our pipeline. So pass again.

Detroit can really use a RHD prospect so Neimela works there plus 2 1st round picks in the 25-32 range isn't bad.

Why wouldn't Detroit resign bunting
