no, JR just said they will look at buyouts in the offseason so people threw their name out there . Makes zero sense to buy them out when, especially BB you could retain and get an asset back. Plus, they arent in a cap crunch so who really cares anyways.

I mean, depending on who threw it out there, the Canucks have had leak after leak I would be inclined to believe most insiders on something regarding just the nucks. Like if that’s from Taj, I’d be more confident than not.
Garland is probably the much more likely candidate though if I were betting on it
