            No. Moving Boeser is primarily about opening as much cap space as possible.

            Retaining $650k is pointless. If the Canes wanted Boeser, that retaining does nothing. Canes are the wrong system and fit for Boeser. Move him somewhere else.

            Nobody is the right system for the Canes it seems. That’s such a ridiculous thing to say. How would you know how they play in the Canes system if they’ve never played in that system?

            Wow they play defensively and Boesers D hasn’t been good this year? Well the entire team hasn’t been good on D. Last year(or maybe the year before idr) Boeser had good defensive metrics. Such a silly thing to say

            That’s the thing. Either you’re gonna give him away for nothing to clear his cap hit or you’re gonna get a mid round pick to eat 1.5 mil. Boeser’s contract has basically zero value even if the player could help a lot of teams.
