Description
First post here in a minute. Spit balling big time. My idea of value (on this website anyway) is pretty out of date. Buffalo trade likely won’t happen until the off-season. Let me know if I’m way off

I think your valuation of the Ghost Bear is a tad high, especially as he's now injured and out until near the trade deadline. Evans is the Kraken's top defensive prospect and I doubt they'd move him.

Ghost injury shouldn’t affect trade value cause he’ll be healthy or almost healthy by the deadline. That being said I didn’t know Evans was Kraken top D prospect, throw in another prospect there and I’m happy with it. Mostly after the pick

Really? I would strongly consider it. Adding Chychrun to an already strong blue line would be incredible, and Vejmelka solidifies the goaltending for a playoff run.

Ghost is actually a better fit for the Sabres than Chychrun.
The Sabres, like most teams likely don’t want to pay the insane ask price for Chychrun, the Sabres really need more depth and an upgrade for the bottom pair than the top pair. This person should be able to go to the top four if needed

If a 4th is all it takes to take on Bjugstad AND take off Blais, then sign us up.

Sabres are not doing it. Strength of this team is chemistry, goaltending is good enough so far. Chychrun isn't the piece that I would try to mess things up to get him. He is good, but LHD must be least priority for Sabre right now.

this is awful for Zona, learn to valuate your own talent and project the proper rebuild timeline

Can't see Buffalo doing this, UPL is playing well, we already have 3 goalies rotating and Chychrun isn't the best on his offside. Rather go get a Murphy Schenn type

okay, let's start with what metrics do you assign what value to what positions, and then how do you construct your comparison to other players?

and ya, eye test is a thing, so what weight do you value that as well?

This is a bunch of gibberish. I am more than confident I know more about what I’m talking about than you do. Having this young core combined with whoever we draft next year would have this team on a huge upward trajectory. Tons of opportunities for the young kids to shine

the BUFF trade is so bad it drains my willpower to answer you

research the metrics of all these players, build the team next year and after with those players, and tell me if that team is any better for it.

you can look at my comment history if you really want to start somewhere

don't be lazy
