2 roster players young C and RD high end prospect which none you provide along with a 1st that's just for Horvat let alone adding Garland and Schenn to the deal. Vancouver gets better offers than this.

Good luck getting that for an expiring contract. Vancouver did extremely well getting value for Miller at last years deadline

Well for that offer, There would definitely have to be an extension in place. Pretty sure Allvin and JR know it's not happening for no rental

Take Garland (with retention!!) out and take the 2023 third out, and I think that's much closer to fair.

One is happening because you’ve committed to Miller. Again Horvat ain’t going for what JR wants in in 3 roster players

Vancouver wants to buyout Garland. It’s cheaper for them to retain than to buyout the contract for 6 yrs

Pretty sure he will, if he gets a deal to his liking. If the return is to believe he's not getting without an extension in place. No rentals bring the kind of return he's asking for.

No legit reports have stated that the Canucks are going to buyout Garland

I'm curious, if Minnesota is trading Dumba at the deadline because he's a rental, why would they then move a 2nd for another rental?
