If the Sharks would accept that return AND Meier would actually sign that long-term extension, I'd be 100% in favor of it......

Unfortunately, based on the scuttlebutt around Meier, he will be looking for more on his contract and the Sabres won't give up their 1st round pick in this year's stocked draft. It would have to be either the '24 1st or a pair of the '23 2nds instead IMO. Even then, not sure the Sharks would take that offer with Rosen as the prospect - Grier isn't stupid and I imagine he'd insist on either Kulich or Savoie, both of whom Adams loves and wouldn't give up.
