He is definitely worth it, but NYR does not have the cap. They need to resign K'Andre Miller and Filip Chytil and adding Bo on top of that with what 16 M to play with... ? and they need to have a four line team and 6 d men in order to even compete next season. It is similar as if I say why don't VAN just take on Panarin's contract? sort of disregarding why you need to trade Bo from the beginning.

I really don't underestimate teams abilities to sign or trade for certain guys evenif it's expensive. Horvat doesn't have a 40 or 50 goal year, hopefully this is his first 40+, he is a dynamic guy and for some reason it feels like his best years might be ahead of him and joining a good team with a couple more legit top players, proven success, panarin, zibenijad, a team that shows up every night and has a high standard of play, it's a guarantee 30+ goals and a 40 spot and another big threat. I'm going to mock up a 23-24 nyr acgm with Horvat signed.
