No chance buffalo does this, and I mean none. Nobody is taking on 17 million per year and giving up 4 first round picks at the same time. This creates ridiculous problems, like depleting an elite pipeline and limiting the ability to sign young stars like dahlin, power, and cozens. Maybe there's a discussion about whether this would be a good idea if the salary cap didn't exist, but it does. Plus the Sabres have two first overall picks on d to move the puck, they need a defenseman who can play in his own end and scrap a little far more than a 9 million dollar aging offensive d.

Horrible trade for Buffalo Cap wise. Drop Karlsson take out Kulich and Krebs and change Buffalo's 2023 1st to a 2024 2nd

Savoie (a 9th overall 6 months ago), a first (let's say 15th overall) in what's supposed to be a great draft, and a second rounder for timo is a solid offer. If somebody wants to pay more, godspeed.

Sabre just can't have those two contract next season.....Thompson and Samuelson have bee extended already and Cozens should expect a big pay increase

I know Sharks fans are saying NO. But looks at what the Sharks are getting. Young assets, and 19m in cap space.

No need for EK and Kulich is untouchable. EK is the last player Buffalo needs

Kulich will break the roster next year. EK is not needed, and on this contract I wouldn't even think if he fits.
I am really really want to see if ACGM is wrong, again, on Meier price.
We were wrong on Eichel, DeBrincat and Fiala, overpaying all of them here. Meier will go for something like 2023 1st (top 10 protected), 2024 2n and top prospect (Ostlund or Rosen). Maybe someone from Rochester like Cerqvuist or Pilut added.
