General idea here is to accept the fact that with the cap crunch, Wild are likely not to make the playoffs so turning a focus to getting young players or lower-cost long-term deals for our big-contract UFAs over two years.

You can make an argument that we might invest a fifth-round draft pick for the seldom-used 37-year-old Goligoski due to our weakness at LhD, although I can't actually see Rob Blake doing that, but what does Carl Grundstrom have to do with this?

Yeah the ship has sailed on Mantha ever wearing a Red Wings jersey ever again. Mantha and Zadina 1 for 1 is a fair offer not surrendering a 2nd for a lazy player.

Troll proposal! Because there's not a chance like ever is Minnesota doing any of this! Zuccarello, Marcus foligno are going nowhere. Minnesota isn't taking on mantha, or getting rid of Zuccarello for Filip . Canucks fans need to stop making proposals. Only one trade here makes sense

I can't see LA being interested in another 35+ defenseman. They'd re-sign Edler before they went for this.
