And even in your wettest dream Montreal isn’t getting Durzi for Edmundson, or a 1st for Monahan, or a 3rd for Drouin, or Mittelstadt for Dvorak, or a 3rd for Pitlick

I didn't say he has no value. I said LA doesn't want him. He's not better than Edler or Durzi.

i'm sure there's another team in the NHL that would give up a 1st round pick for him at 50% retention.

Edmundson does suck. The Kings don't want him.

I wouldn't go so far as to say I'm "lying" now. More like being facetious because Montreal fans think that all of their players are worth 1st round picks. I don't think anyone will give up anything of significant value for him. Maybe a 4th round draft pick if Montreal retains 50% and takes back an off-setting contract for next season.
