No from Winnipeg. Too much for a rental winger and 8/9 defenseman.

I think the Jets would want to keep Schmidt even though he’s overpaid, he brings a lot of stability to the third pairing. So we wouldn’t need Benning. I think the Jets would probably do the trade but only if Meier came with an extension.

I can see the Sabres taking a shot at meier, hopefully walk away if it gets too crazy. The Sabres don't need Karlsson. That's a crazy price and it's at full value, not that it matters. I wonder how many teams have 11.5 in cap space plus assets like a 23 mid first, olofsson, and kulich that they just wanna throw away. Not many I would think.

8/9 defenseman? He’s a top 4 dman with a $1.25 mil aav. Come on man, this is getting ridiculous. Never seen a trade be good enough.

Lol. Yeah okay. Top 4 defenseman. Get serious. Just because he plays there on the Sharks doesn't mean that's his skill level. You are very Sharks biased, but try and use some realism.

Even if we take him out, 3 firsts for a rental winger is ridiculous.
