I can’t see Seattle having a ton of interest in Duchene, even with the solid season he’s having his contract will probably hamstring them down the line.

You`re not retooling with that trade. Baron and Dvorak will cost you 2x 1st rd picks and a couple of decent prospects not what you propose

This doesn't make our team much better.

You're forgetting the Preds have a bunch of guys in the system who should be getting in reps next year like Tomasino, Evangelista and maybe L'Hereaux. Not to mention Parssinen should be a consistent top 6 player by this time.
I'd pass on all of these moves and instead opt to sell Jeannot and Ekholm for picks at this years TDL.

Barron, probably. But nobody is paying you a 1st PLUS prospects for Dvorak.

What's NSH's motivation for retaining on Bjorkstrand and flipping him for Joseph? Saving a millionish in cap isn't worth the downgrade offensively.

As a Preds fan:
Undecided on the SEA proposal
Yes on Granlund to CAR
No thanks on the rest

Bjorkstrand is part of one of Seattle's hottest lines right now (opposite Tolvanen frown ) so I don't think they're giving him up that easily.

Not fond of any of the other moves for the Preds, honestly. I don't think a full teardown is useful (or likely).

Some canes like Granlund but i don’t. Too small, not physical, and poor in the dot. About the opposite of what we need for a 2c

I was thinking of it. I like Ekholm too much to trade him. Jeannot maybe, but my idea of an asking price for him is something like Liljegren for Jeannot+6th and I could see Leafs fans getting angry fast.
