Description
Figure after today's trade that we should take advantage since

This guy has Knies as significantly more valuable than Raty

And this guy has Robertson and Knies as more valuable than Raty
https://theathletic.com/3415068/2022/07/25/nhl-prospects-rankings/

It's clear the Canucks will move top players for bad prospects so imagine what we could get for a good prospect.

I mean I know the Sharks prospects pretty well and this guy has Bystedt above Bordeleau. Bords is an AHL all star and is second among rookies in goals. Also just has way higher ceiling.

These guys aren't prospect gurus. Every list is different. Knies is probably the most over-hyped prospect I've ever seen. Not so say he's bad, but some people act like he's the next Matthews. And I'd take Raty of Robertson any day.

Other than the Vancouver deal I think the other teams accept. Im not sure Toronto would be interested in trading Holl (since the Vancouver trade would be declined no Schenn) but thats around fair value for him, maybe a 3rd if you cant get a 2nd

I actually agree on Knies personally I think he has crazy trade value around the league and the Leafs should move him. If we don't I'm fine with being proven wrong but other than Ds like Makar/Fox I can't remember any NCAA players making an impact in their first few seasons in the NHL. NCAA players are always so overhyped then become nothing.

But why would TO need Hughes? If their GM is just bad, try to get Petterson

I'm so confused. Quinn is 23. They're not moving him, they're going to rebuild around him.
Horvat is 27
I'd be on Miller watch
