Buffalo doesn't want Dumo, and I wouldn't be shocked if their on his NMC anyways. I think it all depends on his NMC, and you'll have to add picks/prospects to move him. Seattle probably declines as well. Also Brock is signed through 2025, why on earth would they retain 50%

I dont think Dumo has negative value whatsoever. Hes been better as of late and is a rental. I could see why Buffalo wouldn't be interested. What teams do you think would?

Can't see Van retaining that much and brining cap back in

I really don't know. You'd have to probably find a team that A. has cap and B. has a need on the LD side going down the stretch, and that's not easy to find. Only way I think he moves is with a pick + prospect or retained salary.

The NHL wouldnt take him with an expiring contract for 775k less a year
Then forced with a decision to either meet the Minimum Qualifying Offer or let him walk
VAN unlike ANA , CHI and many others chose to overpay someone they complained wasnt hauling their weight for years.

CHI let Dylan Strome just Walk for nothing , who's a better player overall and a Center.
Sam Steele's QO was more then he was worth so gone .
Milano despite being a highlight reel level playmaker for Zegras with amazing Chemistry his QO was worth more then he was and bye bye.
There's literally too many examples to list , That said the list of teams dumb enough to overpay people they were trying to purge is MTL for Armia, VAN for Boeser and thats about it

Why reward that i guess is the question.
Leverage wise VAN has none
They've Eriksson'd themselves again
Use that to your advantage making them pay

More likely they'd grab a 1st to take Boeser at full cap with the agreement Bailey goes to VAN with NYI eating a year term
VAN could use Bailey like MTL did Monahan rebounding his value and moving him at the TDL retaining salary as Bailey at 2.5m even now is attractive to a lot of teams.
But if he could return to his regular production before this year or better then VAN could easily get a conditional 1st round pick out of him next TDL

The upside for VAN is even Boeser's worst seasons were better then most of Bailey's best excluding a slight bump in Production during Tavares final years Boeser Production rate is still puts him at 20% more likely to score in a game then Bailey. Overall Boeser has the same chance Bailey did beside Tavares to hit those heights about a year earlier at 25 beside Barzal on a term NYI can live with as long as Bailey's gone.
