So WTF would TB give up a 2 for a 7/8 defenseman? Who would Dermot play over ? Hedman? No! Sergachev?No! Cole? No! Cernak? No! Perbix? No! Bogosian? No! Besides the fact it isn't a good trade for TB they also don't have the cap space for it either.

Garland’s nice but his contract would easily mean they can’t afford DeBrincat, and Demko’s would mean they can’t afford the RD upgrade that they need. let alone sending back their 1st in this year, and their best prospect?
It still wouldn’t make it worth it for the Sens, but at least offer to take Zaitsev and his contract back
